How to start the trial

Requires a Nest account. The 7-day trial is on the monthly plan and needs no card: add one before it ends to keep Pro, or let it end and nothing is charged. The yearly plan starts paid.

About the session limit. Free includes up to 3 named sessions, and that is a limit on saving new ones — never on what you already have. Nest does not delete or hide a session you saved. Installs that were already above the limit when it arrived keep the larger allowance, and if a subscription lapses while you are over it, every saved session stays exactly where it is; you simply cannot add another until you are back under the limit.

There is no checkout on this website, and the Chrome Web Store listing does not mention a price either. Every button here installs the free extension. This is the whole path from there.

To cancel, change the card or come back later: Account, then Manage plan, which opens Stripe’s billing portal.

Install Nest
Free from the Chrome Web Store. The free extension never asks you to make an account, and nothing in it is on a trial clock.
Open Nest and go to Account
The Account view is where the plan lives. Every free feature works without ever visiting it.
Create a Nest account, or sign in
Pro is attached to an account rather than to a browser profile, which is what lets it reach a second computer.
Choose "Start 7-day free trial"
Nest opens Stripe's checkout in a new tab. The trial is on the monthly plan and needs no card, so there is nothing to remember to cancel.
Keep it, or let it end
Three days before the trial ends, Nest emails you a link to add a payment method. Add one and Pro carries on at $4/month; do nothing and the trial simply ends. Nothing is charged, and everything you saved stays where it is.

Free things you might expect to pay for

A tab manager that gates the obvious is why people distrust the category. These are not upsells, and the boundary is named where one exists.

Autopilot: Restart rescue, Automatic Sessions, Duplicate Autopilot, Suspend, Tidy away and the weekly summary are all free, with no account. Pro only keeps Automatic Sessions longer: 30 days instead of 7. Tidied away tabs are kept 30 days on every plan.
Closing duplicate tabs: By hand in Organize, then Tidy, then "Close duplicate tabs", or automatically with Duplicate Autopilot. Both match tabs by exact URL, and both are free.
Export: Your backup as a readable HTML page or portable JSON. Free since Nest 1.8.0.
Up to 30 days of closed-tab history: The retention setting in Account offers 6 hours through 30 days, and every length is free. Pro is what carries that history to your other computers.
The Vault: Local Vault snapshots created before supported bulk actions, with restore tools if you need to recover. Local and free; not a cloud backup.
Everything you organize with: Categories and domain rules, snoozing, notes, search across open and closed tabs, one-click restore of what you closed, and the side panel.

Questions about the money

Is Nest free?

Yes. The extension is free and needs no account, including Autopilot and up to 3 named sessions. Pro makes sessions unlimited and adds cloud sync and 30-day Automatic Session history. Nothing in the free extension expires.

Does the free trial ask for a card?

No. The 7-day trial on the monthly plan needs no card. Three days before it ends, Nest emails you a link to add one; if you don't, the trial ends and nothing is charged.

Is there an annual plan?

Yes: $36 a year, which works out at $3 a month, 3 months free compared with paying monthly. It starts paid, with no trial. There is no lifetime plan.

What happened to Nest Chat?

It was removed in Nest 1.8.0. Nest no longer has an AI feature and reads no page content. Pro is now sync, unlimited sessions and longer Automatic Session history, which is also why it costs less.

Can I buy Pro on this website?

No — there is no checkout here, and the Chrome Web Store listing does not sell it either. Install the extension, then start the trial from its Account view.

How do I cancel?

Open Nest, go to Account and choose Manage plan. That opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can cancel. Cancelling stops the renewal; it does not delete anything you saved.
